Job Title OSA Assistant Events Coordinator (25-26)
Job Description
The OSA Assistant Events Coordinators work with the OSA Events Coordinators to plan and execute social events put on by OSA. The Assistant Events Coordinator is expected to uphold the OSA Mission and Core Values. (#NOINDEED)
Job Duties Attend/work events as scheduled Make purchases for events as needed Work major campus events such as Mx. Etown, TGIS, etc. Assist in programming major campus events such as Mx. Etown, TGIS, Price is Right, etc. Assist in selecting events and determining the calendar of events each semester Take notes at all staff meetings Attend weekly events meetings Attend bi-weekly OSA staff meetings Attend OSA retreats and trainings throughout the semester Attend OSA training at the beginning of the fall and spring semester Provide assistance to the Assistant Director of Student Activities and events coordinator as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2.0 GPA (semester and cumulative), if you are a first year student then it is expected that you receive this GPA at the start of the Spring semester Good Standing with the College
Preferred Qualifications
Experience planning events
Physical Demands
May be asked to carry equipment for setup and clean up for the events
