As a member of the Managed Services team the Employee Relations Specialist will apply their knowledge of labor and employee relations principles, policies and best practices in support of a labor-management program.

Responsibilities: Participate in and provide advisory support for litigation activities, identifying potential risks or considerations. Represent the organization before various administrative panels (e.g., EEOC, MSPB). Identify potential legal risks and/or considerations and recommend mitigation strategies and tactics. Provide legal sufficiency analyses of pending performance and disciplinary/adverse action cases. This requires experience with federal employment law, including recent case law interpretation, relevant CFR and USC provisions, and collective bargaining agreement interpretation and application. Assist managers with disciplinary and performance-based actions in accordance with Title 5 of the CFR and aligned with established procedures. Provide support and guidance to Employee and Labor Relations (ELR) personnel on emerging trends and best practices related to performance and disciplinary management. Guide ELR subject matter experts (SMEs) in enhancing current processes specific to this initiative. This includes transforming SME content into a user-friendly, digital format. Assist ELR SMEs in the design and development of data dashboards specific to this initiative. Provide updates to senior leadership regarding performance and disciplinary actions. Offer strategic guidance to ELR and senior management on trends and emerging practices related to performance and disciplinary management. Required Education and Experience:
