Position Overview:

As a Delivery Helper, you will play a crucial role in our delivery operations, assisting with the transportation and delivery of products to our customers. This hands-on position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities: Loading and Unloading:

Assist in the loading and unloading of products onto delivery vehicles. Ensure that products are securely strapped and arranged for safe transportation.

Delivery Assistance:

Accompany the delivery driver on routes to customer locations. Help carry and deliver products to customers' homes or job sites.

Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner during deliveries. Provide assistance in placing products in designated areas as per customer instructions.

Product Verification:

Verify that delivered products match customer orders and invoices. Report any discrepancies or damages to the delivery driver or supervisor.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and transportation. Comply with traffic regulations and safe driving practices.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Assist in basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles, such as fueling and cleanliness. Report any issues with the vehicle to the delivery driver or supervisor.

Communication:

Maintain open and clear communication with the delivery driver and other team members. Provide updates on delivery progress and any issues encountered during the delivery process.

Qualifications:

Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects regularly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in delivery assistance or a similar role is a plus. Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
