Job Position: Full Time Maintenance Technician
Location: Conestoga Valley School District
Pay Rate: $20.06/Hour
Shift: Full Time 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a
Maintenance Technician
to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and custodial duties for buildings, equipment, and grounds. This role also provides parking lot traffic assistance and ensures the functionality of carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, cleaning, and locksmithing systems.
Valid Drivers license REQUIRED
Key Responsibilities:
Complete assigned work orders and prioritize maintenance tasks. Repair and maintain heating systems, including boilers, thermostats, filters, and control devices. Maintain and repair buildings, equipment, furniture, and grounds (e.g., doors, blinds, driveways, plumbing, electrical, and playground equipment). Conduct facility inspections to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs. Replace keys and locks, maintaining an updated record of key holders. Perform masonry and welding work as needed. Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Assist with building security and provide snow removal. Respond to emergency maintenance issues promptly. Comply with all safety regulations and handle chemicals properly. Qualifications: Experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related fields preferred. Valid Drivers license REQUIRED Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift, move, and operate maintenance equipment. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
