JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Sales & Catering Product team, the Manager will support efforts to drive product roadmaps and backlogs. The role is involved in the product end-to-end, from discovery, requirements definition, user story development and refinement, and capability development, testing and implementation. The position will also provide business analysis and research support that helps to identify opportunities and emerging solutions to drive product improvement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major and 3+ years' experience product management or related professional area.
2+ years' experience with Agile methodologies.
Preferred
Knowledge or Marriott Sales and Catering platforms.
Roadmap definition experience.
Familiarity with CRM systems, financial systems, or hospitality industry applications
Demonstrated knowledge of supported discipline.
Experience with Agile Development methodology and tools (CSM certification a plus).
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Support the development of product roadmaps and manage backlogs.
Analyze feedback from customers, stakeholder, and other teams to shape requirements for product enhancements.
Participate in product squads/teams supporting the development and execution of product enhancements.
Facilitate requirements analysis and functional design working sessions.
Assess end user/customer needs and creatively approach solutions.
Write user stories and acceptance test criteria for features and detailed functional & nonfunctional requirements.
Support product feature/enhancement integration & test, delivery and post-launch support activities.
Supports content development and/or analysis that support presentations/communications/user engagement related to the products.
Identify and analyze alternative solutions to complex business requirements and providing guidance and advice
Contribute to end user support artifacts/information/collateral development including feature/capability descriptions, end user business value stories, etc.
The salary range for this position is $81,100 to $127,300 annually.
