About the Role
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate
Benefits Specialist
to join our client, a global nonprofit. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all things related to employee benefits, ensuring our team members understand and maximize the value of their benefits packages. You'll play a key role in supporting employee well-being and satisfaction while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities Administer and manage employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear and empathetic support.
Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communication, system updates, and employee education.
Collaborate with vendors and brokers to manage plan renewals, resolve issues, and ensure service quality.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, COBRA).
Support audits, reporting, and data analysis related to benefits utilization and costs.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes related to benefits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR.
Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Experience with HRIS systems and benefits platforms is a plus.

Pay Details:
$40.00 to $55.00 per hour
