LHH is partnering with an organization in Tysons Corner, VA, to find a skilled and people-focused Benefits Administrator. This company is known for delivering exceptional customer experiences and nurturing a collaborative, energetic workplace culture. As they continue to expand, they're looking for someone detail-oriented and employee-centric to join their HR team and help ensure team members receive the benefits and support they deserve.
The
Benefits Administrator
plays a vital role in managing the company's benefits programs-including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness initiatives. This position ensures accuracy, compliance, and a positive experience for employees across all retail locations. Key Responsibilities
Administer comprehensive benefits programs: health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and leave of absence
Act as the main contact for employee benefits questions, concerns, and issue resolution
Coordinate open enrollment, benefits onboarding, and orientation sessions for new hires
Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Partner with payroll to ensure correct processing of benefits-related deductions
Liaise with vendors and brokers for plan renewals, claims issues, and benefits reporting
Promote and support wellness programs and employee engagement initiatives
Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and filings (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2-4 years of hands-on experience in benefits administration (retail or multi-site experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of relevant benefits regulations: ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-first mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
Preferred Skills Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, or similar
Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
Pay Details:
$26.00 to $34.00 per hour
