We seek highly skilled and motivated
Traveling Service Technicians
to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for equipment or machinery at client locations. This position requires extensive travel to both US locations and Canada. As a Traveling Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction by delivering high-quality technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:
Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair equipment or machinery at customer sites according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve technical problems on-site, utilizing diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and customer communication.
Customer Support:
Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating the status of repairs, maintenance tasks, and solutions to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, parts used, time spent, and any other relevant details. Ensure documentation is submitted promptly.
Training and Education:
Train customers and end-users on the operation and maintenance of equipment or machinery. Provide technical advice and recommendations as needed.
Compliance:
Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to company policies.
Travel Requirements:
Regular travel, often on short notice, is required. Must be willing to travel extensively and stay overnight as needed.
Work as a team as needed to help the organization grow.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in a relevant field is .
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a field service technician role or similar position. Experience in installation, maintenance, or repair of technical equipment or machinery is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic skills. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, technical manuals, schematics, and repair techniques.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical individuals.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.), stand, bend, and work in confined spaces. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Travel:
Willingness to travel frequently, often at short notice, to various locations.
Qualifications:
Experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Certifications in relevant technical fields, such as HVAC, Electrical, or Electronics.
Knowledge of industry-specific equipment, such as medical devices, industrial machinery, or IT hardware.
