Summary:
The Facilities Technician at Atomica supports the maintenance and repair of building systems and general upkeep across office and cleanroom environments. This hands-on role works closely with the Facilities and EH&S teams to complete work orders to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.
Objectives:
Complete facility and maintenance work orders as assigned by the Facilities team. Support janitorial, housekeeping, and general labor tasks across the facility. Perform building maintenance and repairs, including patching/painting, drywall, plumbing, and general finishing work. Assist with cleanroom cleaning and support tasks while following gowning and contamination control protocols. Learn and support hazardous chemical waste handling procedures. Assist the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) team with safety-related tasks and facility compliance. Capabilities:
Skilled in general construction and facility trades such as plumbing, carpentry, drywall, patching, painting, and minor renovations. Experience using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Prior work in janitorial services, building maintenance, or construction finishing (similar to renovation or contractor work). Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear appropriate protective clothing. Comfortable lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be a U.S. Persons under ITAR (citizen, green card holder, refugee, or asylum seeker) Work Environment:
Noise level in the work environment occasionally meets or exceeds the OSHA permissible exposure of 85dBA. In most circumstances, noise levels are relatively quiet to moderate. What Atomica Offers You:

Compensation
