Position Summary
As a Business Intelligence Apprentice in the Value Based Analytics division, you will play an important role in supporting our analytics team. This position is ideal for individuals interested in learning and applying data analytics in creating impactful solutions across business units related to value-based outcomes. The internship offers direct experience in data processing, analysis, and visualization, allowing you to contribute to organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and processing large datasets for analytical purposes Support in developing dashboards and reports to communicate actionable insights Collaborate with various teams, such as digital services, business operations and clinical service lines, to understand data requirements and deliver analytics solutions Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose innovative solutions and methodologies Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analysis and reporting activities Engage with mentors (management level within the division as well as outside the department) and subject matter experts to deepen understanding of value-based analytics frameworks Performs related duties, as required

Required Experience and Qualifications
At least 2 years of undergraduate work completion towards relevant degree (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science). Graduates also welcome to apply Basic understanding of data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Excel, Python, R) Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally Interest in learning about data analytics and value-based frameworks Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI Familiarity with SAS and database management systems (e.g., SQL)
