Role Summary
This is an Onsite position based at our location in Goleta, CA.
The
Customer Service Representative
is a critical role acting as the "face of MANN+HUMMEL" with customers while managing every customer order. This requires a person with great energy and attention to detail.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage customer orders and ensure information is accurate and complete Work with Supply Chain / Scheduling to communicate order details and set ship dates Enter customer orders in SAP Issue all documents relevant to the Sales process (Order Confirmation, shipping documents, invoices, pro-forma invoices) Process customer invoices and billing requests Obtain shipping details and freight quotes Track customer orders and facilitate expediting if required Communicate order updates to sales team and customers Represent customers at scheduling meetings Work with global teams to communicate order process and ensure on-time customer delivery Document and improve order management process and associated work instructions Working with a cross-functional team, develop recommendations and help to implement processes and programs to improve on time deliveries Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Education: • High School Diploma or GED
Experience: • 3 years' minimum experience in a Customer Service role
Required Skills: • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent English speaking, written, and presentation skills • Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond quickly to different types of personalities • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively • Attention to detail
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: • Bachelor's Degree • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices (SalesForce preferred) • Previous Customer Service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Pay Range is : $26.00/Hour - $31.00/Hour DOE.
