Facilities and Maintenance Team Lead
Tenure: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Facilities and Maintenance Team Lead
to oversee the daily operations of our maintenance department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities, driving continuous improvement, and leading a team of skilled technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Lead hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Vendor Coordination:
Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
Inventory Management:
Oversee the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring availability and cost control.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment histories, and compliance documentation using CMMS tools.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field .
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics; strong knowledge of PLCs, HVAC systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Software Proficiency:
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
