Estimator

to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the VP of Business Development with take-offs, bid evaluations, subcontractor negotiations, and project cost estimations for commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities Attend initial client meetings to assess project scope Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates Perform material take-offs and develop scopes of work Identify and secure qualified subcontractors and suppliers Create and send bid invitations; gather and evaluate competitive quotes Assemble final take-off documents and submit for approval Manage estimating software and ensure timely updates Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of proposals Maintain subcontractor and vendor databases Promote a positive and professional image to clients, vendors, and colleagues Adhere to all company safety policies and encourage a culture of safety Qualifications Minimum of 5 years

of experience in estimating commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of

blueprint reading

and construction specifications (6+ years preferred) 3+ years of hands-on construction experience is ideal Familiarity with

Federal, State, and NFPA

building codes High School Diploma or GED required; Trade education preferred Valid driver's license and proof of insurance Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); ProContractor knowledge is a plus Excellent communication skills-verbal and written Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Travel & Work Environment Ability to travel up to
