Position Overview:
Join our team as an Application Support Analyst in Transmission Engineering, where you will play a vital role in supporting cutting-edge CAD and document management applications. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality service to our engineering teams. Salary Range:
$64,845 - $96,664 per year Employment Type:
Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Provide primary support for Bentley ProjectWise and MicroStation applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather product enhancement requests. Function as a primary point of contact for technical support to end-users within the Transmission Engineering Services Department. Customize and configure CAD applications and Document Management System. Support plot server configurations and driver updates in collaboration with IT. Conduct user audits and maintain accurate document status reports. Engage with various teams for problem-solving and development of strategic solutions. Coordinate CAD software upgrades with the managed service provider. Analyze and recommend processes for improved efficiency in drafting software. Develop and present training materials for end-users. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a CAD-related field preferred. 2+ years of application support experience with Bentley MicroStation and ProjectWise. Experience with AutoCAD, Bentley Substation, Autodesk Inventor, and Substation Design Suite is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing objectives in a dynamic work environment. Success Measures: Completing tasks and projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely reporting on progress. Demonstrating prioritization and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting. Recognized as a knowledgeable problem-solver by peers and management. About Oncor:
