What will I bedoing?

The Manager is responsible for leading and coaching employees in certain programs, grants or support services, managing and approving all budget items to remain in compliance with all processes, protocols and procedures. They will hire and provide training and feedback to employees, manage the employment relationship to include providing performance appraisals, counseling documents as well as termination of employment. They will establish goals for the department and assign relevant tasks to accomplish the goals to staff.

ü Provide strategic direction for the department, program, or area of responsibility, including the Aging & Disability Resource Center, Benefits Counseling Program, Health Promotion Program, Information & Referral Program, and Special Initiatives.

ü Oversee program services and targeted outreach efforts.

ü Review and approve all budget items ensuring accuracy and compliance.

o Develop program budgets.

o Track expenditures and review requests for reimbursement requests.

o Submit budget amendments as needed.

ü Manage the learning and development plan of 10 or more direct reports.

o Hire and onboard vacant positions as needed.

o Meet with staff regularly to review performance on goals and provide coaching.

o Connect staff to appropriate training and resources.

o Maintain regular communication with team and facilitate team meetings.

o Conduct annual evaluations and career development plans.

ü Help recruit, onboard, and foster relationships with Aging & Disability Advisory Committee Members.

ü Identify funding opportunities and lead grant application efforts.

ü Review project proposals as needed for potential contractors and subrecipients.

ü Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study
