What will I bedoing?

ü This position performs complex (journey-level) property management work and works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

ü Assist with the day-to-day facilities management of approximately 97,000 square feet of leased office space and three satellite office

ü Assign and supervise the work of staff in the areas of shipping, receiving, print-shop operations, and building maintenance.

ü Interface with vendors, employees, contractors, and building owners to coordinate lease improvements and repair.

ü Maintain and order office supply inventory for approximately 400 employees. Provide cost reports and project billing reports on a monthly basis on inventory use and value.

ü Run and troubleshoot large printers and copiers. Prioritize printing jobs from multiple departments to meet agency requirements.

ü Establish positive relationships with the Building facilities manager and staff to secure effective janitorial services, facility improvements, and safety standards.

ü Complete all purchases for the facilities function including securing budget approval, initiating purchase orders and tracking.

ü Serve as primary back-up to Facilities Manager and represent the department in meetings and trainings as needed.

ü Assure that all conference rooms are set-up for meetings in accordance with attendance requirements. Verify that all audio/visual equipment is working properly.

ü Log checks into SharePoint folder.

ü Supervise all outgoing mail including packages, UPS, FedEx, and USPS.

ü Coordinate with Human Resources on building access including processing requests for badges, after-hour access, and weekend access.

ü Be a positive team member with incitive to improve the workplace and enhance the abilities of subordinates and co-workers.

ü Ability to escalate issues of importance for the organization to achieve desired outcomes both internally and externally.

ü Along with the Facilities Manager, keep the Chief Financial Officer informed of all facility related matters

ü Other duties as assigned

KeyQualifications

ü Able to lift at least 30 pounds

ü Ability to work as part of a team

ü Have or obtain within 3 months of employment the High-Rise Building Safety Warden and First-Aid Certifications

Do you have...

ü Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study

ü 3years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties
