Human Resources Business Partner (Direct hire/ on-site)

Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with Distribution Center (DC) leadership to align HR initiatives with operational goals. This role supports a positive workplace culture, ensures legal compliance, and drives talent development and engagement in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted advisor to DC leadership on employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning. Support a workforce of 150+ employees, including temporary staff. Deliver training to managers and staff, including safety and compliance programs. Oversee policy administration and ensure compliance with federal, state, and NYS employment laws. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement efforts. Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS data. Administer leave programs (FMLA, PFL, ADA) and return-to-work coordination. Collaborate with safety and operations on OSHA compliance and workers comp reporting. Conduct job analyses and support performance management and development. Track HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, engagement) and present regular updates to leadership. Provide support for payroll and benefits as needed. Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus. 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in an HRBP, Sr. Generalist, or similar role. Knowledge of federal and NYS employment laws. Strong communication, organizational, and coaching skills. HR experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or similar setting required. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Supervisory Responsibilities:
