On September 28, 1976, we signed a lease on our first ice cream parlor. Later that day, we saw a double rainbow light up the sky over San Francisco and our name was born. Since then, Double Rainbow has been producing award winning, super premium ice creams and frozen desserts with one thing in mind, to always make the best. We produce over 60 flavors of Ice Creams, Sorbets and Soy Creams. All our ice creams are made with milk and cream that come from cows that are not treated with hormones. Our sorbets are made with fruit purees and non-genetically modified corn syrup. Our non-dairy soy creams are Kosher, Parve and Vegan. The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the organization to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability. This role manages and coordinates activities across facility maintenance, production, inventory control, and supply chain to support the company's strategic and operational goals. Responsibilities:

Facility Management: Ensure the facility is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with applicable regulations. Oversee repairs, maintenance schedules, and vendor relationships for facility services. Production Oversight: Plan, monitor, and improve production processes to meet quality standards, deadlines, and cost targets. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and output. Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Monitor stock, reduce waste, and ensure accurate recordkeeping of inventory movements. Supply Chain Coordination: Manage supplier and vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the timely procurement of materials. Coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers or distribution centers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational activities with organizational objectives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to track progress and inform decision-making. Who You Are

Qualifications: Proven experience in operations management, production, supply chain, or related areas. Strong understanding of operational processes, including facility, production, inventory, and supply chain management. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and drive continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales teams and other departments. Strong project management skills. Knowledge of quality control processes. Familiarity with facilities management and maintenance Strong communication skills and demonstrated problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. This role is full time, in-person in our office in Emeryville, CA Benefits
