Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Houston, TX 77001
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range is $19 /hr on W2
Job Description:
Must-Have Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with inbound and outbound calling Positive, patient, and supportive demeanor Nice-to-Have Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint Experience with Salesforce CRM Familiarity with Genesys phone system Background in healthcare or insurance services Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound calls with members and providers Schedule appointments and encourage participation in health programs Provide accurate information regarding benefits, services, and eligibility Identify and document escalated, recurring, or complex system or process issues Recommend solutions or alternatives and support implementation Act as a subject matter expert for employee inquiries and audit projects Conduct quality reviews of customer interactions and support performance improvement Process various transactions including suspended claims, adjustments, and correspondence Determine benefit eligibility using medical records, policy documentation, and clinical knowledge Support compliance initiatives and communicate requirements to management Engage in high-volume outreach to promote Case and Disease Management services Coach and guide members in health program participation Assist with documentation, referrals, SOP reviews, and clinical support tasks Preferred Attributes:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and virtual environment Comfortable using various systems and handling sensitive information
