Maintenance Mechanic
for
Second Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
and
Third Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
at our
Chateaugay, NY
facility.
We're looking for skilled and safety-conscious professionals with a strong background in
industrial maintenance . If you're a hands-on problem-solver with a solid work ethic and a commitment to quality, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the general upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of plant equipment and systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
You'll work across several core maintenance functions, including:
Electrical and electronic systems Industrial plumbing (copper, black iron) Mechanical repair and preventative maintenance Welding (Stick, TIG - stainless, aluminum, sanitary piping) Hydraulics and pneumatics Refrigeration and HVAC Machine shop/millwright work This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility. Team members must be available for
overtime ,
weekends ,
holidays , and occasional
shift rotations , as needed by the operation. What We're Looking For:
Proven
experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting skills and a track record of making timely, safe, and accurate repairs Solid working knowledge of motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Commitment to workplace
safety
and safe work practices A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Industrial electrical and welding
