Maintenance Mechanic
Location:
Fort Mill, SC Pay Rates:
$28-$30.00/hr, depending on experience Work Schedule:
3rd Shift; 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend Requirements:
Every other weekend required. Must be open to nights if needed.

Maintenance Mechanic
to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Job Summary:
As a
Maintenance Mechanic , you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of various mechanical systems within our manufacturing facility. A strong mechanical background is essential, and experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is a plus.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
Rebuild Equipment:
Rebuild centrifugal and gear pumps, and change out pumps, align pumps and motors, wire motors, and replace mechanical seals (single and double) on pumps/agitators.
Mechanical Repairs:
Rebuild mechanical seals and small gearboxes, and work with vacuum pumps.
Welding:
Perform TIG pipe welding ().
Maintenance:
Conduct preventative maintenance and perform general mechanical repairs.
Electrical Skills:
Basic electrical skills for wiring and troubleshooting.
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
Experience:
Strong mechanical background; experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus.
Skills:
Team player, hard worker, self-motivated, detail-oriented, with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Training:
Willingness to undergo training as needed.
