Medicare Member Services Advisor| Details and Compensation:
Location: Akron OH 44305 – 100% On-site Payrate: $21.75/hr Required Availability: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Medicare Member Services Advisor | Summary and Highlights: The Medicare Member Services Advisor will role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping Medicare members navigate their healthcare options and stay informed—especially those at risk of disenrollment. Role will focus on guiding conversations, making plan changes, and occasionally stepping into the spotlight with presentations.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs · Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Medicare Member Services Advisor | Responsibilities:
Serve as the go-to contact for complex Medicare Advantage plan and benefit inquiries. Make outreach calls and follow-up with members at risk of leaving the plan. Assist in retention efforts through structured programs and personalized communication. Use a compliance-approved script to assess member needs and guide plan-related decisions. Document all interactions and perform plan changes as necessary. Present plan benefit information to individuals or groups in-person, as needed. Stay informed and compliant with all CMS guidelines and regulations.
Medicare Member Services Advisor | Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Proven experience working with Medicare beneficiaries or in health insurance-related roles. Comfortable delivering in-person presentations to individuals and groups. Clear and confident communicator—both over the phone and in person. Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation habits. Ability to adapt messaging to meet each member’s unique needs. Tech-savvy enough to manage member systems, track interactions, and run reports. Valid driver’s license required.
