Operations Manager Job Description Summary/Objective Join our team as a Maintenance Technician Specialist, where you'll leverage your skills across various trades to maintain and repair our facilities and equipment. Your expertise is vital to ensuring our machines function optimally and our spaces remain welcoming and safe. Essential Functions Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep our machines and building systems operating smoothly. Inspect, operate, and test equipment to identify and diagnose malfunctions. Utilize blueprints and repair manuals to diagnose and correct mechanical problems. Assemble, install, or repair electrical systems, plumbing, and machinery. Adjust device components using various hand tools and leveling instruments. Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring equipment is reassembled correctly. Assist in negotiating pricing for additional projects and build-outs. Competencies Adaptability:

Install and maintain plumbing systems; troubleshoot leaks and pressure issues. Electrical:

Conduct basic electrical repairs; ensure compliance with safety regulations. HVAC:

Maintain heating and cooling systems; perform inspections and routine maintenance. General Maintenance Carry out maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment. Conduct facility inspections to preemptively identify potential issues. Perform general repair work, including painting and carpentry tasks as needed. Respond swiftly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Additional Duties Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and service history. Manage inventory for maintenance supplies and parts. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes. Coordinate with contractors for specialized services as necessary. Participate in emergency response procedures when required. Supervisory Responsibility This position may include supervisory duties. Work Environment This role is located within a retail environment. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and utilize a ladder as needed. Physical capabilities are crucial to fulfill the essential functions of this role. Position Type/Expected Work Hours Full-time position - Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Scheduling may vary based on work demands. Travel 1-10% required travel. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related fields. Proficient in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Strong troubleshooting abilities. Capability to read technical manuals and schematics. Basic computer skills for maintenance management systems. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Education and Experience Trade school certification or equivalent technical training. Professional certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC. Familiarity with building automation systems. Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and building codes. Experience with commercial or industrial facility maintenance. EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
