Project Estimator
position in
Roseville, California.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Review and interpret all project documents, including drawings, specifications, project manuals, schedules, and qualifications. Use digital tools to develop accurate material takeoffs. Source pricing for materials, equipment, overhead, and subcontractor work as needed. Identify and propose value-engineering alternatives to enhance bid competitiveness. Prepare detailed, professional, and compelling proposal packages. Maintain proactive communication with clients by following up on submitted proposals to foster long-term relationships. Participate in weekly preconstruction meetings to discuss upcoming opportunities and provide updates on current projects. This role requires working onsite in the office 100% of the time. Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Experience in Division 8 preferred. General Knowledge:
Demonstrate knowledge within the commercial construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and PDF takeoff software. Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
