Walters & Wolf Interiors is currently looking to fill a Project Engineer position in Fremont, California.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Read and understand all project specifications and procedures.
- Prepare all required submittals (LEED, if applicable) and documents as indicated in the project specifications.
- Ability to successfully learn (training provided) and utilize AutoCAD for detailing drawings.
- Attend kick-off meetings, document notes, and communicate with internal and external teams.
- Using the internal systems, initiate change order transmittals, RFI's, and change order quotes.
- Assist with creating purchase orders and tracking vendor invoices for projects.
- Prepare and submit warranty and close-out packages for each assigned project.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Management team and other project participants to provide assistance and support where required.
- Demonstrates a proactive and self-driven approach to tasks.
- Displays enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and knowledge.
- Takes ownership and seeks additional responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Project Engineer duties and responsibilities.
- Experience collaborating with various project teams.
- Proficient in coordinating activities among teams.
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Adapts well to changes in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for project challenges.
- 100% on-site Monday-Friday
