This position is based in St. Louis, Missouri, with a hybrid onsite and remote work schedule at the Geneoscopy office.

The

Talent Acquisition Specialist

will manage full-cycle recruitment efforts - from identifying needs and sourcing candidates to facilitating interviews and securing top-tier hires. This role is essential to filling key positions with high-performing individuals promptly and efficiently. In addition, this position will play a key role in strengthening our employer brand to ensure we attract, hire, and retain individuals who align with our values and contribute to the Company's long-term success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full-cycle recruitment across all departments (e.g., Finance, Laboratory, Research and Development, Commercial, Marketing), supporting roles from entry-level through executive.

Collaborate with business leaders and HR Peers to design, implement, and optimize recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Build and maintain robust talent pipelines by proactively sourcing active and passive candidates through databases, professional networks, social media, and referrals.

Conduct candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and manage feedback loops to ensure a streamlined and engaging candidate experience.

Utilize screening assessment tools to evaluate candidate competencies and skill sets where appropriate.

Track and report recruitment metrics (e.g., time to hire, source of hire, conversion rates) to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Organize and represent the Company at hiring events, career fairs, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and attract high-quality talent.

Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs, build job descriptions, and ensure recruitment best practices are consistently applied.

Educate hiring managers and stakeholders on effective interviewing, inclusive hiring, and employment branding.

Manage all candidate communication from application through offer acceptance and onboarding to ensure a seamless transition into the organization.

Coordinate with HR peers and department leaders to facilitate comprehensive onboarding experiences that drive early engagement and retention.

Regularly solicit feedback from new hires and managers to refine recruitment and onboarding practices to improve long-term employee success.

Serve as a trusted partner and advocate for positive employee relations by fostering open communication and trust between staff and leadership.

Support Company-wide initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, morale, and a sense of belonging across all levels and functions.

Contribute to the development and execution of programs that promote Company culture, including DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging), recognition programs, and team-building events.

Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and labor markets to advise stakeholders on hiring strategies and market conditions.

Uphold and promote Company values throughout the recruitment process and employee lifecycle, modeling professionalism, empathy, and integrity.

Provide mentorship and training to junior recruiters, sharing best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate relationship management.

Act as a brand ambassador for the organization, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging about the employee value proposition across all candidate and employee touchpoints.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess 5+ years of functional recruiting experience in a full life-cycle environment.

Exemplify hands-on experience with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Demonstrate competence in sourcing for exceptional passive and active candidates through various resources (web, social, and professional networks).

Possess a successful track record in recruiting process development and reporting.

Exemplify strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques.

Possess a solid understanding of human resources practices and labor legislation.

Exemplify the ability to multitask and thrive in an agile, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

Possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, while willing to share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization to achieve the desired results.

Possess high ethics and conduct business in the most professional manner.

Preferred Additional Experience:

Experience recruiting for technical or scientific roles.

Experience working in or with companies in the life sciences industry.

Understanding of industry-specific terminology, roles, and compliance considerations.

Prior experience supporting a high-volume hiring environment.

SCHEDULE This is a salaried position, requiring at least 40 hours per week. There may be projects that require activities beyond the standard hours.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: annually determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, and abilities.

Bonus: discretionary annual bonus based on a percentage of the employee's base salary
