Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Oakwood.
$$ 1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$
(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $250 at thirty days, $250 at sixty days and $500 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.)
SHIFT HOURS:
Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE:
$24.00-$27.00 with a potential increase at 90days
ADDITIONAL PAY:
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job functions include: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all generator systems Identify causes of generator problems and/or failures Diagnose malfunctions, identify faulty components, and repair/replace parts on high-pressure water pumps, including seals, valves, and motors Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of generators and water pumps both during normal working hours and after hours, weekends, and holidays as directed Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspecting pumps for wear and tear Install new pumps and related equipment Requirements
Must be 18 years of age and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record in accordance to Cooper Farms Fleet Safety Manual. Previous experience working on commercial and/or industrial generators and/or water pumps preferred Must have knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and water pump systems Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and have familiarity with diagnostic tools Ability to remain on call in case of an emergency to repair generators and water pumps outside of normal work hours
