Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in St. Henry.
SHIFT HOURS:
Sunday through Thursday
or
Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotational Saturdays.
STARTING HOURLY RATE : $23.00-$28.00 (based on experience) with a potential increase at 90 days.
ADDITIONAL PAY:
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job Functions Include : Performing preventative maintenance functions on all equipment as assigned. Evaluating sources of problems with equipment and systems. Following-up on repairs by testing equipment as it is normally ran. Recording any parts removed from parts inventory. Keeping the shop and work areas organized and clean. Requirements
Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Must have an Associate degree or equivalent in maintenance. Must have a valid driver's license. Good communication and math skills is a must Must have a good mechanical background and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
