Essential functions
Talent Management: Work with department managers to identify staffing and skill needs, create hiring timelines and help set compensation budgets, oversee performance review systems Recruitment & Onboarding: Take charge of the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Training & Development: Lead the excellence strategy, drive high employee engagement overseeing training initiatives to help employees grow professionally and keep the company competitive within the industry HR compliance: Maintain employment records using both a physical filing system as well as digital human resource management system software. Maintain and update human resources documents, such as employee handbooks, and company policies Recommend new approaches, build systems, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and company while ensuring legal compliance Employee welfare: Â Be a trusted HR partner, promoting a positive workplace culture and helping resolve any conflicts Benefit Administration: Oversee payroll and benefits, answering employee questions and supporting employees with enrollment process. Complete annual benefit audits for 401k, workers comp and ACA reporting
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business management. 3+ years in a human resources generalist role Strong training program background Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Strong Communication Skills
Preferred:
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification ADP Workforce experience
Job order details: The HR Generalist will take the lead in driving employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence. This person will be responsible for all aspects of HR for a growing company, being hands-on with HR tasks and contributing strategically to the company’s growth. Sponsorship: Needs to be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Pay Range: $28/hour - $34/hour ($58,000 - $72,000 annual salary) Term of assignment: 6 months contract to direct Pay method when direct: Salary no OT Location of job: Alpharetta, GA 30009 Hours and shift: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM (can flex an hour if need to) Work from home: Not while on contract once direct if approved they can work from home on M/F Working remote: No Overtime expected: minimal Travel: None Work attire: business casual Does the client require a background check or drug screen? Yes Please contact Lizzie Johns at 470-203-0754 or Ljohns@selectek.net for more information.
