Position Summary:
Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Northeast Market, reports directly into VP of National Sales and is responsible for driving sales and profitability for assigned region for Daily's Mixers, RTD's and SunnyD RTD Cocktails. RSM will leverage relationships with buyers, distributors, and brokers to manage current portfolio and new product launches. RSM will be responsible for forecast planning, development, implementation, and trade for region. RSM will manage trade spending to maximize effectiveness of promotions, while balancing distributor, and retailer priorities to achieve merchandising, assortment, and pricing.
Primary Position Responsibilities: • Strong salesmanship to manage and sell distributors and accounts to drive sustainable sales growth. • Ability to engage with distributors and accounts to build strong partnerships that are mutually beneficial. • Execute trade programs with distributor partners to achieve targeted volume and brand development through specific trade channels. • Supervise and control field selling operations with distributors and assigned brokers to attain or exceed sales volume and profit objectives. • Ensure effective trade promotion planning and execution by actively participating in the planning, development, and implementation. • Manage budget and SDF spend. • Manage TPM to ensure trade spend and promotional activities are within budget and accurately reflected at all times. • Participate in publicity activities within the region, to include trade shows, tastings and samplings, and general sales meetings.
Position Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the adult beverage industry. • Proven experience in customer/account management; and/or retail sales management • Strong sales background with an excellent understanding of business processes. • Strong financial acumen and demonstrated ability to drive the right level of volume (Budget) with the appropriate spend. • Strong influencing skills in Distributor/Relationship Management. • High-energy, enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-disciplined, competitive, assertive, and goal-oriented self-starter with the desire to succeed. • Takes personal responsibility for decisions, delivering results and exceeding expectations. • Be able to work independently and also collaboratively with the rest of the sales, marketing and operations teams to accomplish goals.
