Position Summary

The

Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory, overseeing sales managers. This includes managing a portfolio of distributor accounts, multi-unit operators, and foodservice customers. The RSM will lead territory sales strategy, develop new business opportunities, support channel partners, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet or exceed regional sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution Responsible for achievement of sales objectives, brand growth and development. Achieve or exceed regional sales revenue, margin, and volume targets Responsibility for sales and marketing function at distributor and end user level. Expand market presence through proactive customer engagement, prospecting, and pipeline development Evaluate promotion program opportunities, recommend high potential programs, and manage promotion spending. Organize and deliver presentations for field sales to use in selling products to customers. Prepare a business reports to executive sales management. Create short and long term business volume forecasts. Customer Relationship Management

Cultivate new business through corporate exhibitions, networking with operators, distributors, and decision-makers Conduct regular field visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to drive engagement and sales Proactively enters leads and opportunities into the CRM Distributor & Channel Management

Build and manage relationships with key distributor partners Work with distributor sales teams to promote Genpak's product portfolio and increase market share Monitor and analyze distributor performance and implement action plans to address gaps Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, etc., deliver customer-centric solutions Work with customer service to handle and resolve customer complaints Provide feedback to internal teams on market trends, customer needs, product performance, and competitive activity Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in foodservice packaging, CPG, or distribution Proven success managing a sales territory or region and achieving growth targets Strong knowledge of the foodservice industry, including operator, distributor, and broker channels Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region
