Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with Keeley Construction to identify an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team. About the Role:
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in the success of Keeley Construction's projects by preparing accurate, detailed cost estimates and analyzing project requirements to ensure profitability and operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to contribute to winning bids and project execution strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to define scope and prepare detailed quantity takeoffs. Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and vendors. Participate in scope meetings and client interactions to define project deliverables. Develop accurate estimates for all project phases, including design-build, budgeting, and competitive bids. Offer value engineering solutions to optimize project costs and enhance client value. Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Collaborate with Project Managers on schedules, strategies, project delivery, and buyout during both pre-bid and post-bid phases. Conduct site visits and project reviews to verify production and enhance estimating accuracy. Prepare and execute change order estimates as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating with a proven track record of success. Expertise in self-perform civil construction is required. Proficiency in
HCSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word . Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, clients, and industry partners. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
