Position Summary
From design to production, we utilize cutting-edge digital technologies to help our clients achieve their product development goals. This role will be responsible for repair, installation, and maintenance of equipment and machinery within the maintenance department. As a Maintenance Technician you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality is a priority each and every time, while also achieving time allowances for each job assigned.
This position is required to travel to the Winchester, TN site as needed, estimated 1-2x a week.
Responsibilities:
Ensure down time of machines and equipment is minimized to ensure SyBridge best practices and customer standards are met Maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Disassemble and reassemble machines to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables Update and maintain assigned machines per manufacturer specifications Maintain parts inventory, personal library of machine manuals, company-assigned laptop and tools Knowledge of high-speed machining processes, adjustments and accuracy tests procedures Attend ongoing training events sponsored by company or machine manufacturers to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and repair option Operate machine tools such as vertical mills, lathes, and grinders to fabricate parts and asset Install major components such as motors or hydraulic assemblies, inspect parts, sub-assemblies and finished products to ensure quality Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various CNC/EDM machines, Makino, DMG, OKK, Kuraki, ONA. Qualifications:
Millwright or Electrical license, High school diploma, or equivalent is required. Five (5) years of related experience within a Maintenance Department Five (5) years CNC service and troubleshooting experience Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain, Allen Bradley and Siemens controls Working knowledge of "G" Code programming Experience working in a mechanical capacity and troubleshooting is required Ability to perform under pressure and work independently Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required Ability to ensure quality standards are met Strong attention to detail is required Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills Proficient in time management and communication skills Available for on call work, overtime, and off shifts as required; Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Requires walking, and on your feet for most of the day. Lifting as required up to 50 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to reach above shoulder heights and below the waist. Noise levels and temperatures may vary due to areas accessed. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals. Protective gear such as ear plugs, masks, gloves, safety glasses, etc. may be required in specific areas or duties. What We Offer:
