1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM); flexibility required for overtime and occasional weekends Pay:
Up to $40/hr depending on experience Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. This role is critical in maintaining production uptime by performing electrical, mechanical, and general facility repairs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, and will be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting laser machines is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, outlets, and motor circuits Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals Assist with the installation, wiring, and startup of new machines and equipment Diagnose and correct mechanical issues to minimize production downtime Maintain maintenance logs, inventory parts, and document repairs in the system Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement activities Support production by responding promptly to maintenance service requests Communicate effectively with supervisors and production team regarding machine status Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting and wiring Proficiency in using multimeters, hand tools, and power tools Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Must be able to work independently and safely under time constraints Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting and maintaining laser machines Technical or vocational certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and NFPA 70E PLC troubleshooting experience a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
