Position Summary The
ID Checker
is responsible for verifying the age and identity of guests attending the music festival to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and festival policies. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, lawful, and enjoyable environment for all attendees. ID Checkers will be stationed at festival entrances, beverage areas, or other designated checkpoints.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching
This position will remain open until October 31, 2025.
Responsibilities
Verify the age and identity of all guests attempting to enter restricted areas or purchase alcohol
Use UV lights or scanners (if provided) to check IDs for authenticity
Apply wristbands or stamps to verified individuals
Deny access to individuals with invalid, expired, or fake IDs
Politely explain policies and handle guest interactions professionally
Report any suspicious behavior or security concerns to supervisors or event security
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Follow all festival policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older (21+ preferred depending on alcohol service laws)
Strong attention to detail and ability to detect fake IDs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand for long periods in outdoor conditions
Dependable and punctual
Experience in security, hospitality, or event settings is a plus
Must be comfortable enforcing rules and handling occasional confrontational situations calmly
