Position Summary The

Bar Staff

is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to festival attendees. This role plays a key part in creating a fun and positive guest experience by efficiently serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

This role pays an hourly rate of $11.00 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until August 15, 2025.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately

Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption are met

Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, including restocking supplies

Comply with all local, state, and venue alcohol service regulations

Follow health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices

Work collaboratively with other bar staff and festival team members

Assist with setup and breakdown of bar areas as needed

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age (based on local/state alcohol laws)

Previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred

TABC certification or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Team-oriented with a professional and upbeat attitude
