About Us:

Schwope Brothers West Coast grows over 700 acres of bareroot trees and packaged trees in Banks, OR. We specialize in conifer, shade, ornamental, and fruit trees. This is a fast-paced, innovative organization that is revolutionizing the way trees are grown for increased performance and aesthetic appeal. Key Responsibilities: LMA:

Lead, manage, and hold the site team accountable for executing operational plans with precision, ensuring timely shipping, high customer satisfaction, and seamless collaboration with internal sales and production teams to meet business goals. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all logistics and operational activities. Inventory Analysis & Sales Strategy:

Partner with the production manager, other production managers, and sales team members to ensure accurate inventory tracking and management, supporting sales initiatives. Conduct detailed inventory analysis to effectively execute sales strategies that maximize stock turnover, meet customer demand, and drive revenue growth. Order Management:

Oversee the entire order lifecycle-from placement to fulfillment-ensuring accuracy and prompt processing. Coordinate logistics effectively to execute shipping plans that prevent delays or shortages. Maintain transparent communication with customers and internal teams, streamlining workflows to maximize operational and sales efficiency. Customer Satisfaction : Cultivate strong, ongoing relationships with customers by providing expert guidance on product selection, delivery schedules, and logistical support. Increase customer engagement through site tours, resolving product issues, managing allocations and credits, and accurately tagging and photographing products to ensure a positive experience. Use data insights to forecast inventory needs, identify sales opportunities, and support customer onboarding to expand and diversify accounts. Transportation Strategy & Execution:

Execute transportation plans for shipping bareroot and packaged products from the docks, optimizing routes and carriers to ensure cost-effective, on-time deliveries. Collaborate closely with shipping partners to coordinate dock operations, monitor product readiness, assess quality standards, and address logistical challenges promptly to uphold service excellence and support sales commitments. Essential Job Duties:

Lead sales and shipping operations at the farm, ensuring all team members adhere to operational plans and sales initiatives, meet shipping deadlines, and maintain product quality standards Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to align staff with operational goals, foster continuous skill development, and enhance overall productivity Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to ensure staffing levels meet operational demands Serve as a liaison among sales, production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and alignment of activities Manage schedules to meet deadlines for customer order guides and product availability lists ensuring timely preparation and fulfillment Coordinate daily with shipping partners to optimize routes and monitor shipments for on-time delivery from the docks Address logistical challenges promptly by collaborating with shipping partners and internal teams to resolve issues and minimize disruptions Support sales efforts by providing logistical data, inventory updates, and delivery timelines to internal teams and customers, contributing to increased customer retention and account growth Maintain excellent communication with customers regarding inquiries, order status, allocations, and conflict resolution Conduct site tours for customers and prospects, providing detailed product and operational explanations, and engaging through all communication channels-phone, email, and in person Track and report key performance metrics weekly, including shipping accuracy, inventory levels, customer satisfaction, and delivery timeliness, to support continuous improvement aligned with business objectives Ensure accurate input of orders into SBI and KPI documentation into Salesforce, maintaining data integrity for operational and sales analysis Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Required:

Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in agricultural production, including logistics, quality control, and sales support Required:

Minimum of 3-5 of leadership and team management experience Preferred:

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field
