Our client, a leader in the energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Customs Compliance Specialist to join their team.
As a Customs Compliance Specialist, you will be part of the customs operations team supporting import and export activities across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Prepare and submit clearance instructions to customs brokers ensuring compliance with U.S. import regulations
Manage importing requirements including FDA, EPA, AD/CVD, Section 201/301/232, quotas, and Free Trade Agreements
Monitor U.S. imports for timely clearance and resolve issues as needed
Ensure compliance for export transactions including documentation review and Electronic Export Information filing
Collaborate with brokers, internal teams, and suppliers to maintain consistency in import/export processes
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with relevant experience
Minimum 2 years of direct U.S. import/export experience
Proficiency in preparing and processing import entries and export shipments
Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, tariff database, and valuation rules
Advanced understanding of trade preferences (e.g., USMCA) and duty minimization programs
