TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening for a
Trade Compliance Analyst.
The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for the daily administration of the division's import and export compliance program in compliance with U.S. and applicable non-U.S. import/export control laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities Support the strategic development, delivery, and execution of a standardized trade compliance program in coordination with the Trade Compliance Leadership Team Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with all relevant U.S. and non-U.S. import/export control laws and regulations, company policies and procedures while enabling the business to achieve its objectives with velocity Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and work instructions to support functional area of responsibility as needed. Support Post Entry audits of division's Customs brokers filings Review and manage local (HTSUS) Harmonize Tariff Schedule classifications for components and finished goods Manage Customs broker requests to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all entries submitted to U.S. CBP and Canada CBSA Support in the management of the U.S. Value Reconciliation Process Assist with maintaining & developing Duty Drawback programs Assist with the internal auditing of all import/export activities Conducting packaging & supporting substantial transformation reviews Collect, assess, and issue Duty Preference Certificates (ie. USMCA,etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable requirements Manage a diverse workload which may include changes in priorities and responsibilities Help build internal tools and implement process improvements Work with business units, U.S. Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and Duty Drawback service providers to verify data accuracy, perform audits, and file accurate and timely claims. Participate in and attend training seminars and meetings as needed and/or required Support root cause analysis for resolving audit/compliance issues. Collaborate with business units, logistics, finance teams, service providers, and department trade compliance resources to respond to CBP audits. Ensure the company maintains accurate records of all duty drawback claims, including import/export documentation and all other required supporting records. Help train and educate internal stakeholders. Assist with the internal auditing of all import/export activities. Manage a diverse workload which may include changes in priorities and responsibilities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Business Administration, Logistics or related field preferred Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) preferred 5+ years of experience performing complex trade compliance related activities Deep knowledge of tariff classification & Free Trade Agreement Rules of Origin and Qualification Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Customs import and export regulations and Incoterms Advanced Microsoft Excel - using formulas such as vLookup, concatenate, and pivot tables and Access preferred Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail Strong communication skills - requires an articulate, detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills (verbal communication, telephone manners, e-mail etiquette) Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task and discern priorities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in groups with some manager direction, oversight, and guidance.
