Maintenance Technician - Kitty Hawk Apartments

Pay:
$19-21 per hour commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rental units including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner Prepare vacant units for new residents (turns/make-readies) Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops and storage areas Assist with landscaping, snow removal, trash pickup, and exterior upkeep as needed Coordinate with vendors and contractors as necessary Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies after 90 days Follow all safety protocols and company policies Other duties assigned Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of general maintenance experience preferred (apartment or property maintenance a plus) Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Basic proficiency in using hand and power tools Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders and kneeling Excellent customer service and communication skills Work/Travel Availability
Must be able to reliably get to and from work May be required to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays based on property needs May work at one or more nearby apartment communities as assigned
