Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall upkeep of the community, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and responding promptly to resident and staff maintenance requests. This position ensures a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine building and equipment maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks
Complete work orders and preventative maintenance assignments promptly and professionally
Assist with groundskeeping, snow removal, and seasonal projects as needed
Monitor safety systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment
Knowledge of building systems and the ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
