Bishop Drumm, a CHI Living Community, is looking for an enthusiastic
Activities Supervisor
to design and lead engaging wellness programs for our residents. If you have a passion for enriching the lives of older adults through creative, purposeful activities, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Plan and deliver programs
that promote physical, spiritual, social, intellectual, and creative wellness.
Create the monthly calendar
and ensure every activity starts on time and meets resident interests.
Assess new residents
within 72 hours of admission and update care plans, MDS sections, and other documentation on schedule.
Coordinate events
for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays—plus community outings twice a month.
Lead and coach your team : set daily schedules, monitor attendance, evaluate performance, and mentor volunteers.
Maintain compliance
with all state, federal, and CHI Living Communities guidelines for documentation, safety, and infection control.
Collaborate
with nursing, dietary, and other departments to support a vibrant community life.
What You’ll Need
Completion of a 90-hour Basic Activity Course, OTA/OT degree, or Certified Activity Specialist credential (preferred).
At least two years’ experience running social or recreational programs—ideally in long-term care or senior living.
Strong organizational skills, creativity, and genuine respect for older adults.
Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Familiarity with electronic documentation and care-planning systems.
