Job Summary
The Maintenance Specialist IV has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, performing regular maintenance, preventive repair tasks on machinery, technology equipment, and other instruments. The Maintenance Specialist IV is also responsible for using various hand tools, electronic tools, and measuring devices. This is a non-exempt position that reports to LSCPA's Physical Plant Department
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Three years of progressively responsible experience in carpentry, painting, use of equipment; including experience as a craftsman Valid driver's license with good driving record

Paint buildings, fixtures, and equipment

Prepares various types of surfaces to be painted through the use of brushes, rollers, or spray equipment; paints interior and exterior surfaces

Properly operate and clean paint spray guns

Mix, thin, and apply various types of finishing material
Essential Job Functions
Refinishes office furniture, cabinets and shelves, both metal and wood

Erects scaffolding and prepares site to be painted

Maintains records of materials and labor expended on each task

Assist in locksmith duties
