ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC LEADER (EXPERT)

Summary You will serve as an ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC LEADER (EXPERT) in the Production Resource Department, Shop 06 of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will be responsible for a wide scope of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting including extending the use of conventional electronic instruments and tools. You will serve as the subject matter expert in the trade to improve trade processes, inspect work, identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions. You will inspect completed and in-process work for quality of workmanship and adherence to requirements, specifications, standards, plans, and schedules. You will ensure that plans, blueprints, materials, and tools, are available for specific jobs. You will perform reviews of documents associated with completed work and trade processes to ensure they are filled out adequately and accurately. You will give appropriate skills training utilizing shop training tools or spaces such as mock-ups, in-shop work areas or facilities.
