The University of Louisville Athletic Department seeks candidates for a Temporary Football Recruiting Coordinator position for the 2025 Season. This is a seasonal position reporting to the Chief of Staff for Football with an end date of January 31, 2026.

The Temporary Football Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for identifying and conceptualizing strategies to recruit prospective student-athletes to the University of Louisville to perform on the football field and in the classroom. This position will be required to work a non-standard workweek, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conceptualize and implement strategic recruiting plans for prospective student-athletes; plan, develop, and execute recruitment strategy.

Identify talented, eligible prospective student-athletes to represent the university on and off the field.

Coordinate assigned on-campus official and unofficial recruiting visits, including game day visits by prospective student-athletes and their parents/guests, ensuring they are having a positive experience; work with recruiting staff to organize complimentary ticket lists, meals, and facilitate introductions/meetings with assistant coaching staff.

Foster and maintain positive relationships with high school coaches both locally and nationally to assist in the process of evaluating prospective student-athletes.

Understand and comply with all NCAA and ACC rules and regulations pertaining to recruiting (on and off campus); report to and work with Athletics Compliance on any recruiting issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Working experience in a collegiate, Division I FBS football program.

Working knowledge of XOS or other related digital coaching software, Hudl, and Twitter.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Effective administrative and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and projects according to deadlines.

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
