Staff Up is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector in Houston TX 77007!
Pay
$19HR
8AM-5PM Monday to Friday +overtime
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products
(REQUIRED) Uses measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gages, optical inspection and computerized inspection devices as needed
Rejects and returns nonconforming materials and/or products that do not meet applicable specifications and requirements
Documents inspection results by completing applicable inspection reports and logs
Participates in quality control/assurance related activities
Participates in performance improvement activities, utilizes resources efficiently and effectively takes responsibility for own learning needs
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pre-employment Background check and drug test required
1-3 years of previous work experience in a QC inspector position
Must have a working knowledge of measuring instruments
Ability to articulate clearly, professionally, and effectively
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to tug, pull or lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Frequent to constant use of their hands and fingers, to handle or feel, and to manipulate in a variety of different body positions or postures
