Job Description
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial interior fit-outs ($500K-$30M) Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and MEP drawings using digital takeoff tools Solicit, review, and level subcontractor pricing across all trades Assist in scope development and value engineering exercises Maintain up-to-date subcontractor and vendor relationships Collaborate with project management and executive leadership to finalize bids Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and client-facing meetings when required Ensure all pricing documents are thorough, well-organized, and professionally presented MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
3-7 years of estimating experience in
NYC commercial interiors Strong familiarity with architectural plans, bid documents, and trade scopes Skilled in quantity takeoffs, bid analysis, and subcontractor communication Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, and estimating platforms (Procore, BuildingConnected, etc.) Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills Clear communicator, comfortable interfacing with project teams, executives, and clients Self-motivated, able to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines Looking for a long-term role with growth potential into Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager What's on Offer
