We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Business Development Representative to help grow our client base. In this role, you'll be responsible for prospecting potential clients, initiating conversations, and booking discovery meetings for our sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement. Research and identify target businesses that align with Bellwether's services. Introduce Bellwether's value proposition to decision-makers in small and mid-sized organizations. Schedule discovery meetings for senior sales team members. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including pipeline status, contact activity, and forecasting. Partner with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies. Stay informed about Bellwether's IT services and industry trends. Represent Bellwether professionally in all external communications and meetings. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role. Proven experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting in a B2B setting. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen. Resilient, persistent, and highly motivated to succeed. Beneficial Knowledge:

Experience in IT services or Managed Services is a plus. General understanding of IT concepts such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, or helpdesk environments is helpful but not required. Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools or automation platforms. Knowledge of the New Orleans business landscape or regional market familiarity. Compensation & Benefits:

Additional Information:

This position may require lifting equipment up to 25 lbs., prolonged periods of standing or sitting, and travel to and from client sites.
