Direct Support Professional (DSP)
plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You'll support daily living activities, community engagement, and personal development, while advocating for individual choice and dignity. Career Development
Opportunities for advancement through the
National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP)
certification program: DSP I:
+$0.50/hour DSP II:
+$0.50/hour DSP III:
+$1.00/hour Achieva also offers advancement pathways to
Front Line Supervisor (FLS)
certification, with pay increases and bonus incentives upon completion. Key Responsibilities Support individuals in leading meaningful lives through community and personal engagement Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, laundry, meal preparation, and medication administration Promote independence through support with budgeting and daily living skills Accompany individuals to appointments, recreational activities, and community events Document individual progress, successes, and concerns Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to complete one-person physical transfers Valid Pennsylvania driver's license Must meet Act 33/34 clearance requirements Why Join Achieva?
