Job Title: Field Technician
Location: Schiller Park, IL
Job Type: Direct Hire
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, as well as proficiency in repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, and to build machinery from these documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and program Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in production equipment.
Build, assemble, and install machinery according to blueprints and schematics.
Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Respond to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns to restore machinery to full functionality.
Collaborate with other team members to improve machine performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Proficiency in repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience in building and assembling machinery based on blueprints and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
